My project is a display serif that will live in a large body size. Scope of use of the font: headlines in magazines, posters for techno parties, museums/art events, fashion. My main reference was an engraving made by Charles Ricketts in 1896 for the work Nimphidia and muses elizium, in which only capital letters were used. From here the name of my font—Nimphidia—was born. The main creative task that I set for myself was to find the optimal form of lowercase characters. The output was two alphabets in one outline and minuscule digits.
Born in Krasnodar, for the past 1,5 years I’ve been living in St. Petersburg. I studied information systems and technologies engineering at the KSAU. I do graphic design.
