I chose the topic of my graduation project based on my professional activity (I work in advertising). I wanted to create a modern font for fashion press and glossy magazines. It was difficult: you had to redraw one and the same letter several times, look for forms, gather the font in a single style. But I was keen and inspired, I wanted to see the completed font soon, and the approaching deadline for project defense kept me going. I’m glad to have met people with whom we studied together and were on the same wavelength.
I was born in the small town of Severodvinsk. Ever since my childhood I loved everything that had to do with arts: drawing, sculpting little people from clay, or sewing rag dolls for my friends. After graduation from the Bonch-Bruevich Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications I’ve found a job related to my professional education and worked in typography. There I’ve improved my skills and decided to move on. That’s how I’ve got into the cool advertising department of FortGroup. Along with working, I wanted to develop further, learn something new in relation to my professional interested and beyond.
